About
Dr. Jeff Sevener has been working in the dental field for over 24 years, 7 of which he’s spend serving the patients of Healthy Smiles Dental Care! If there’s one thing that he loves more than anything else as a dentist, it’s being able to provide patients with the care they need to maintain or improve their oral health (and overall health along the way!) He can’t wait to meet you, so we encourage you to give his brief bio a look yourself before your first appointment at our dental office!
Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
Originally from Standish, Dr. Sevener knew he wanted to be a dentist since he was in sixth grade. Quite frankly, we’re glad that he followed through on his dream to pursue the field, and despite his many years of practice, he’s showing no signs of slowing down!
Education
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the Standish-Sterling Central High School, Dr. Sevener would go on to enroll at Alma College to earn his undergraduate degree, then attend the University of Detroit Mercy to complete his formal dental education. He would go on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency as well as expand his knowledge on subjects like dental implants and orthodontics.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Sevener is proud to be raising two children. When he’s not in the dental office, you’ll find him skiing, camping, and playing golf. One interesting fact about him is that he served in the U.S. Navy for a total of 8 years.
