We want all of our patients to feel completely prepared when they visit our office. After all, we consider ourselves your partners in creating and maintaining a beautiful, long-lasting smile, and to do that it’s important for you to feel well-informed and involved every step of the way! This page will help give you a clearer idea of what to expect during that first visit as well as some of the logistics that you’ll need to take care of ahead of time. Our staff is ready for your call if you have questions.
If you haven’t already completed your patient forms, you’ll need to do so at check-in. Once we’ve finished processing the paperwork, we’ll call you back to the treatment area to begin your appointment. We’ll take any necessary X-rays and carefully examine your teeth and gums for warning signs of decay and infection. The next step is to thoroughly clean your teeth and remove plaque and tartar from the areas you’ve missed while brushing. Finally, we’ll discuss what kind of dental treatment you’ll need in the near future and help you schedule your next visit appropriately.
The forms that you fill out near the beginning of your first visit tell us about your dental history and the state of your current health; this tells us what we need to keep an eye out for during your examination. If you click the link below, you can access these forms and fill them out right now. This could end up shaving as much as 15 minutes from your total appointment time, as we’ll be able to get the paperwork squared away and begin the actual checkup much sooner.
Insurance is an invaluable tool for keeping your healthcare costs to a minimum. There are many different plans out there that offer varying benefits. If you call with your information ahead of time, we can let you know whether we accept your insurance and give you a rough idea of what percentage of your visit will be covered by your plan. We are in-network with a number of companies, but we can handle claims from providers who are out of network as well.
The PPO insurances that we accept include:
Certain treatments might not be covered by your insurance, or you may not even have insurance in the first place. That doesn’t mean you don’t have options! Dental financing gives patients a way to take control of the payment process for dental care. Instead of paying a single sum, you can instead break the cost into a number of smaller monthly payments that you can meet more easily in your monthly budget. Call us today to discuss your financing options.
To further help our patients save as much money as possible, we offer an in-house savings plan for those who don’t have insurance on their own. You won’t have to worry about premiums, deductibles, or annual maximums; you’ll simply pay the yearly membership fee in order to enjoy a discount on our services. You can get a plan for yourself, or you can get one for the whole family. If you’re interested in learning more, get in touch with us to ask about the details.
