Dr. Spraggins’ father had a dear friend who was a dental technician who encouraged him to go into dentistry. Dr. Spraggins saw that the field seamlessly blended creativity with science, and it would also give him the chance to help people on a daily basis, so he decided it was the perfect fit.
Dr. Spraggins attended New Mexico Military Institute and Wayne State University before obtaining his dental degree from the University of Michigan. He then attended and graduated from the Dawson Academy, one of the most prestigious and respected dental educational institutions in the world. He has also received additional training in the fields of endodontics (root canal therapy), orthodontics, and restorative dentistry over the years.
Dr. Spraggins has been married for 28 years to Barbara, and they have three wonderful children and two energetic grandchildren. With his free time, Dr. Spraggins is an avid golfer as well as an accomplished musician, having played trumpet in many bands in the Grand Rapids area. He also likes to get outdoors whenever he can, whether this involves fishing, hunting, or grilling.
